Proskins Slim Anti-Cellulite Sportswear Clothing

This past week, I tried the leggings from Proskins Slim anti-cellulite sportswear clothing range. After seven days and some, dare I say, inch loss, I am in love. They smoothed my skin in sublime softness. They shrunk my swollen, desk-ridden legs. They made me look better in my trousers. (You know, the trousers you keep in the futile hope that they’ll magically fit like they did when you were 23?)

Developed at Progressive Sports Technologies, Loughborough University Sports Technology Institute, this anti-cellulite sportswear uses graduated compression to reduce cellulite caused by poor blood circulation, fluid retention and lymphatic drainage.  Applying compression to different areas of the leg, these leggings help to not only pump blood back to the heart but also carry excess water back into the blood’s circulation (lymphatic drainage).

Another pretty plus: using built-in beautifying ingredients in the fabric’s micro-encapsules, the Proskins Slim range delivers a delicious dose of inch-losing, skin-smoothing retinol, caffeine, vitamin E, aloe vera, etc. And these micro-encapsules have 100-wash, stay-put power. You can even exercise while wearing Proskins Slim as this compression wear uses micro-climate technology.

Here’s my seven-day experience with this anti-cellulite wonder:

Day One: The first time I put the Proskins Slim leggings on, the first thing I thought was, ‘They fit. They are comfortable.  Even in the waist.’   Two hours after I put them on, I noticed I was going to the washroom a lot more. And my legs weren’t swollen nor did they ache. They felt so light. Compression clothing benefits, I was seeing them for myself. When I took the anti-cellulite wear off after the recommended eight-hour minimum, my skin was so soft. And I didn’t use any lotion that morning.

Day Two: As I was catching a cold, I wasn’t drinking as much (my throat was sore) nor was going to exercise (that was part of the trial). Still, with the Proskins Slim anti-cellulite wear , I was still going to the washroom frequently. And my legs felt great, even my dodgy left knee (a running injury), which was bothering me that morning, seemed less inflamed.

Days Three to Six: My skin was feeling smoother and smoother. The compression clothing benefits were apparent: reduced water retention, regular washroom trips, no more swollen, aching legs and a little less cellulite on my saddle bags. My left knee was a lot less swollen.

Day Seven: I tried on a pair of trousers from ten years ago. They fit. The Proskins Slim anti-cellulite leggings were working. Though, I didn’t measure my thighs (numbers, in my opinion, are not good), there was definitely some reduction in size. The trousers never lie. I also started to see some contouring, as well. My outer quads were more noticeable. (Even without the daily power squats that make me cringe at my front steps.) Another beautiful bonus, I didn’t need to wash them because of the anti-bacterial fabric! Woo hoo!

I can’t wait to see the full compression benefits these leggings have to offer after the recommended 28 days! I promise to update this post…

Proskins Slim anti-cellulite sportswear clothing range, £35 to £55, sizes six to 22, is available online: at Next , Tesco, DW Sports, Barrington Sports and www.proskins.co.uk.
